• After unifying its hypermarkets’ security systems using the Oasis solution from DigiSys, the Auchan Group needed to adapt to the arrival of high-resolution technology in its video surveillance system. They also wanted to capitalize on the physical investments it had made and preserve the expediency of the managers who had learned to use the tool.

• Melissa was rolled out to Auchan’s hypermarkets. As a result, the capacity of each box was increased exponentially. This involved the integration of up to 8 megapixels per camera, easy installation thanks to PoE, the integration of image analysis, “fish eye” or 360° angles and number plate recognition, and the implementation of remote protection and radio transmissions.

• In the interest of satisfying a demanding clientele looking for peace of mind, the hotel needed to implement the best safety and security tools. Performance, effectiveness, stability, discretion and perfect integration with brilliant architecture were the required principles for this type of site.

• The Negresco chose the Command video protection supervisor from our partner March Networks. They were won over by the extraordinary performance of its video compression, the flexibility of the supervisory tool and its upgradability.

DigiSys’ expertise with this solution and the maintenance resources utilized made it possible to upgrade and ensure the longevity of this all-IP video protection architecture so as to achieve the necessary standards for an establishment of this kind.

• Project: management had a twofold objective: to eliminate the theft of aggregates and optimize the company’s operations thanks to accurate, even predictive tracking of its inventory.

• DigiSys proposed a VSC/VisioWave backbone to establish a lasting, scaled structure at Lafarge’s head offices, that could serve as a focal point for all its depots, no matter how the company might evolve.
  The immediate results yielded a return on investment in less than one year. The depot manager’s security also enjoyed a healthy boost.

• The Urban Community of Marseille, working with the RTM transport authority, launched a vast project to extend current lines and modernize the video surveillance system.
  This meant the creation of a network (RFM) for the metro system to serve as the hub for the communication of all the information needed for the smooth running of the metro. Given this growth, an invitation to tender was launched in summer 2005, covering specifications for video operations plus the IP networking of 700 metro cameras.

• Video system centralized in one site with more than 1,000 cameras, in partnership with all the different roles involved in an operation of this magnitude.

• Coverage of the entire site by a hybrid video surveillance system, combined with door sensors.

• Given the scale of the operation and the diversity of disciplines required for the project’s fulfilment, DigiSys supplied the hardware and software solution to installer Securiton, the site’s development and maintenance contractor. DigiSys remains Airport International Group’s supplier for any custom upgrades which may be requested and also provides maintenance via Securiton. At present, the systems are nominal. This is the biggest video set-up for DigiSys and VSC at a single site: 799 cameras.

• Modernization of the current video surveillance system with special operating constraints to enable exchanges with third party systems.

• Anticipation of the necessary upgrades to successfully complete this type of project: custom development work, compatibility with the existing set-up, support and longevity.

• In line with the scale of this prestigious site, the security and video surveillance requirements at the Doha airport are immense: redundant networks, servers and video, and audio recordings.

• Installation of the VSC software solution chosen by Thales: one of the only solutions capable of handling the management of several thousand cameras.
